Liam and Evie just don't mesh well yet - if one is happy the other is not whenever they see each other - we're not gonna stop trying to make them like each other though!

The highlight od my week was when Eb, Evie and Chris came to wake me up singing "Good morning to you!"

Pandora loves that we are getting ready for Eb's arrival... mostly because she thinks everything is for her!  It has been a challenge to keep her out of all of his things because she looks so cute and fits in them so well - but we definitely don't want to risk any smothering so anyplace he will sleep is off limits.

We had our friend and neighbor over to play Dance Dance Revolution - and were so surprised to find Pandora fascinated!  She kept wanting to get onto the playing mat and we were surprised that she was heavy enough to change the song selections.  She was especially interested when Chris was playing!

"No Dad, its my turn, you played long enough!"

Eventually she managed to stay on a corner, but not by choice!

Kitty Surprises...

When walking through the bedroom the other day I was surprised to see the covers move!

On closer inspection I discovered Pandora!  She had crawled up under the quilt by herself!  It had been 'cold' for Florida for the few days before and Chris and I were keeping the house cooler than usual - all we could figure was she was tired of being chilly and wanted to get warm under the covers!

As I was working on one of my papers earlier this year, Chris came and sat next to me while he played.  Kitty saw a perfect opportunity to snuggle with both of us at the same time!  In the process she gave Chris some pointers.

While I was working my way through a paper for class Chris came to keep me company.  Then Pandora came to see what we were doing and settled down to offer Chris her expert opinions for strategy in his game.

Where'd she go?

We are getting ready for a super exciting trip, so I started cleaning and packing this morning... somehow Pandora knows!  She doesn't like us to be gone, but she really doesn't like to go with us, and unfortunately (for her) she will have to be with us on this trip.  It cheaper for us to travel by car with all the stuff we take, but she really loathes riding in the car.  So whenever the suitcases come out she goes into hiding.  This morning I found her under the bed, trying to act normal, if that's possible for Pandora!  Hopefully she won't be in too difficult of a place to reach when we are ready to roll out...

Napping Buddy

I enjoy our cat SO much!  Her antics keep us entertained all the time!  Yesterday I found her asleep on 'Her Chair' with a little happy meal toy from McDonald's she received from one of our friends months ago. (In case you can't tell, its a little stuffed penguin.)  She frequently switches between 'killing' it and then 'loving' it, but napping with it was a new one for me!

Just a quick shot of Pandora helping Chris study!  She loves it when Chris is on the floor!  I love it when we are home for any length of time during this busy semester.

Birds!

 Our porch has seemed rather bare sine I have not had a chance to get pots filled with plants or hanging baskets out and about, so the other day I finally hung up one of our bird feeders that moved with us.  It is officially Pandora's new favorite thing!  She loves watching the birds that come and visit (mostly a few bold Cardinals).  She stalks them, hides from them behind the curtain, does her Xena warrior princess cry at them and generally enjoys herself immensely!  We were worried that there might not be many birds that visit since we hadn't seen many around, but it has been an entertaining investment!
