We are moving along so fast! Evie has done a lot of growing the last few weeks, and has a lot more growing to do! She is close to 3 and 1/2 pounds by this time and will be gaining about a half a pound a week from here on out. Her lungs are well developed, and while she would still need a little help if she were born now, it should not be a serious problem (whew!). She has full blown finger and toe nails and a full head of hair (which we got to see at the last ultrasound!).
I'm feeling bigger but not HUGE yet, however I have hit the point where I'm no longer skinnier when I turn sideways - although breaking the habit of trying to squeeze through sideways is HARD! Braxton Hicks have stepped up from that classification to what I would call practice contractions. They aren't over my whole stomach and they aren't super painful, but they do require a lot of attention. Maybe this means I will have less labor to do when she is born?
So many changes are around the corner, I want to keep you updated on what's going on!

Cherishing Ear Marks...
I find myself clinging to little pieces of Eb's babyhood as he continues to grow more and more quickly. One of the memories I enjoy so much is his little ear print left on my arm after nursing. I know my time cherishing those moments is growing short, but maybe pictures will help me reminisce...

Helping Daddy
Ebenezer LOVES helping Daddy with projects! Chris is great about finding creative jobs for him to do so they can work alongside each other. When they were assembling Evie's new crib (a huge blessing! White, drop-side, beautiful and FREE!) Eb kept track of wrenches and bolts, and even tried putting a few together for Chris! It fills my heart to bursting to see my boys working together!

You might be a Momma if...
I haven't been able to wear my bridal set since two months before Eb was born. I had been resisting getting it sized in the hopes that I would get back to where it fit properly, and I did come close. However with Evie and the hot weather coming on, and the extra swelling I know comes with both, I took the plunge and got at least my band sized. While I still miss my engagement ring, its nice to have a ring back on my finger, and maybe the next time I get a ring sized it will be taking this one back down to its original size :)

Mother's Day
We had a beautiful, fun, full Mother's Day! I cannot believe how incredibly blessed I am to be a Momma! The Lord has taken Chris and I through so many transitions during our married life, probably none quite so stretching as parenthood. It has brought out wonderful aspects of my husband's personality and shown me God's love for us in a whole new light (and my parents' love for me). I have a hard time comprehending that someone loves me MORE than I love Ebenezer (and am coming to love Evelyn) - but God does! How beautifully overwhelming is that?!?
Thank you Ebenezer for being such a wonderful son. Evelyn, I can't wait to meet and hold you 'on the outside' and get to know your wonderfully unique personality. Thank you Chris for helping me give them life. Thank you Lord for leading, and providing on this wonderful ride!
Here are a few snapshots of my boys - I've got to learn to take more family photos on days like this!
